Something really positive is happening at Park2Travel’s Leeds Bradford Airport base we’ve teamed up with Freedom4Girls, an award winning charity working to end period poverty and improve menstrual health education.
Practical support that matters
As part of the partnership, Park2Travel is now home to a period product donation station, making it easy for travellers and the local community to donate essential items like period pads and hygiene products.
Even more importantly Park2Travel is now kindly providing storage space for Freedom4Girls. This means donated products can be safely stored and quickly distributed to individuals, schools, and community groups across Leeds, the UK and globally .
Having the space to store and organise donations allows Freedom4Girls to reach more people, more efficiently and our positive location offers access into easy transport networks. It’s straightforward support that’s making a huge difference!
About Freedom4Girls
Freedom4Girls supports those experiencing period poverty by providing menstrual products, delivering education, and campaigning to break the stigma around periods. Their work helps people stay in school or work, access basic hygiene, and feel confident, supported and empowered to understand their own needs and how to support others too.
